Talk to Homeschool Veterans

Find out from veteran homeschoolers what worked for them and what didn’t.

Don’t buy $500.00 worth of curriculum until you have decided what you really need, because what you need will change as you find out how your kids learn best and how you are able to teach best.

The best resource is to find a local group and talk to other moms who have already walked down this path. Don’t buy anything! Yet!

If you live near Beaufort, come to a Mom’s Fellowship meeting or CBCCA Teacher Training Meeting. Or meet us at the Pigeon Point Park on Fridays at 1:30 pm. You will find other moms just like you!

They will tell you what worked for them. You will hear different viewpoints and be able to decide which method to try first and how you can start small. This is tremendously helpful. You can talk to people who actually used the curriculums and find out why they did or didn’t work for them.
